47th Annual Cross Country Trail Run
The 47th Annual Cross Country Trail Run takes place in Cameron Park at the Redwood Shelter in Waco, TX on February 14, 2026. The event is the first race in the Huaco Cuatro Trail Run Series and uses trails that run across the park's rolling hills, including named segments such as Powerline, Slinky, Mix Master, and Vortex.
Distances included:
- 2 Mile Trail Hike
- 5 Mile Trail Run
The 5 Mile Trail Run has a course time limit of 2 hours, equivalent to a 24 minute per mile pace. The 2 Mile Trail Hike is non-competitive. All finishers of both distances receive a finisher medal. Age group awards are presented only for the 5 Mile Trail Run, including 1st overall male and female and 1st through 3rd place in each 10-year age group.
Logistics details include packet pickup locations and dates: an early pickup at Waco Running Company and race day pickup at Redwood Shelter in Cameron Park. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrants who complete registration by February 2, 2026; after that date sizes are provided on a first come, first served basis until supplies are exhausted. A "No Shirt" option is available for a $15 discount. Dogs and baby joggers are not allowed on the course for safety reasons.
