The Croome Capability Canter is a multi-terrain off-road race held around Croome Park, near High Green, WR8 9DW. The course is one lap of about 6.5 miles (approximately 10K), with a big hill at the start and finish and mostly flat terrain elsewhere. The surface is multi-terrain; trail shoes are recommended and spikes are not suitable. The race is traffic free, not wheelchair accessible, and includes water stations and distance markers every 1K. Medals and goody bags are provided to all finishers and prizes are awarded to winners. Results are published on Power of 10 and Run Britain Rankings. The event is held under a UK Athletics licence.

Entry and logistics

Entries are online only; there are no postal or on-the-day entries. Entries open on 1 October 2025. Places are strictly limited to 350 to protect the parkland; a waiting list is used once the field is full. Closing occurs 48 hours before the race or when the entry limit is reached. Minimum age is 15. Entry fees are £16 for runners affiliated to an England Athletics club and £18 for unaffiliated runners. Facilities listed include changing, toilets, unsupervised bag storage, and a canteen. Parking is limited and car sharing is encouraged.
