Croome Capability Canter
The Croome Capability Canter is a 6.5 mile (approximately 10 km) multi-terrain off-road race around Croome Park, the landscape designed by Lancelot "Capability" Brown. The course is described as undulating and the route and format for 2026 will largely follow previous years.
The event takes place on Sunday 22nd November 2026. Entry is online only, with entries opening on Thursday 1st October 2026 at 9pm. There are no on-the-day or postal entries. Entry places are strictly limited to 350 to protect the parkland. Entry fees are listed as £16 for runners affiliated to UK Athletics clubs and £18 for unaffiliated runners.
All finishers receive a medal and a goodie bag, and prizes are awarded to race winners. A canteen will be available on site and may open earlier than 9:30am. Parking at the venue is limited and car sharing is encouraged. Participants should allow around 10 minutes to walk from registration to the start area.
The race is held under UK Athletics rules with a runbritain licence (2023-45680). Results are published on Power of 10 and Run Britain Rankings after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
