The Crooked Lake Trail Run takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Independence Oaks County Park in Clarkston, Michigan. The event features several distances on trails described as well-maintained, with rolling terrain and hardwood forests. Proceeds benefit the Trecho Fitness Foundation.

Available Distances

Participants can choose from several courses:

2.3 Mile Run/Walk: A flat loop offering views around Crooked Lake.
5K Run/Walk: A course with rolling hills and forested stretches.
10K Run: Two laps of the 5K course for a longer distance. A virtual participation option is also available.

Registration Information

Registration includes chip timing with live results, a custom Dri-Fit race shirt, and a custom finisher medal. Awards are given for overall and age group categories. Participants also receive free race photos and post-race refreshments.

Packet pickup is available on race day at the park. Parking is free. Race-day registration is available, though shirt and medal availability may be limited.
