Event Overview

The Crooked Lake Trail Run takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Independence Oaks County Park in Clarkston, Michigan. The event features several distances on trails described as well-maintained, with rolling terrain and hardwood forests. Proceeds benefit the Trecho Fitness Foundation.

Available Distances

Participants can choose from several courses:

Registration Information

Registration includes chip timing with live results, a custom Dri-Fit race shirt, and a custom finisher medal. Awards are given for overall and age group categories. Participants also receive free race photos and post-race refreshments.

Packet pickup is available on race day at the park. Parking is free. Race-day registration is available, though shirt and medal availability may be limited. Experience the dirt trails of northern Oakland County with a 30K, 15K, or 4 Mile run through Addison Oaks and Bald Mountain. This event features single track paths, finisher medals, and a post race celebration.

Three trail races at Island Lake Recreation Area near Brighton, MI: Nightfall 50K, Overnight 100K, and Daybreak 50K. Entry is capped at 450 runners; night races carry a combined prize purse and all registrants receive a tech hoody.

Explore the trails of Upland Hills Farm and Bald Mountain State Recreation Area. This school fundraiser features a 1-mile, 5K, and 10K run with student-made medals for all. Enjoy free snacks, a raffle, and a festive farm atmosphere.

Point to point trail races of 100 and 50 miles through the Huron River Watershed in southeast Michigan on June 6, 2026. Courses cross multiple regional parks, mostly singletrack, with substantial elevation and set time cutoffs.
