Croagh Patrick Uphill is a new mountain race in County Mayo scheduled for Friday 12 June 2026 as part of the inaugural Connaught Weekend. The course distance is 3.80 km with a listed climb of 770 m. A short course distance is listed as 0.00 km. The event is part of the Irish Uphill League and is marked only at major junctions. GPS use is not allowed.

Logistics and requirements

Route and logistics are in development and subject to permissions and permits. Entry details have not been published; entries for league events usually open a couple of weeks before the event. Mandatory kit is Level B - Standard and must be carried by all runners; required items listed are: waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, charged mobile phone with emergency number stored, and a foil blanket or bivvy bag or equivalent. The final kit to be carried may be confirmed on the day depending on conditions. Failure to have required items may lead to denial of entry or disqualification, and random kit checks may be carried out.
