Croagh Patrick Uphill

Croagh Patrick Uphill is an IMRA uphill race held in County Mayo on Friday 12 June 2026. The course distance is 3.80 km with a total climb of 770 m. The event is part of the Irish Uphill League and is listed with Event Difficulty 3 (1,1,1).

Course and rules note that only major junctions are marked and that the use of GPS is not allowed. Mandatory kit is Level B - Standard and includes a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, a whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket or bivvy bag. All runners must bring these items; the exact kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day depending on conditions. Participants should have the means to carry the kit. Random kit checks may be carried out and failure to have required items may lead to denial of entry or disqualification.

Entries open on Monday 8 June 2026 at 21:00 and close on Thursday 11 June 2026 at 18:00. Entry fees are €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. Entry is limited to 250 participants.
