The courses run along the bay with minimal climbing. Surfaces include dirt, paved paths, and wood boardwalks through the marsh. The site notes scenic bay views and rolling low-lying hills. On race day there is a separate hiker start for participants planning a longer walking time, and the races are staged for the half marathon, 10K, and 5K in that order.
