The Cool Moon 100 is a 100-mile trail race in Cool, California, held on June 13, 2026, with the event staged at the Cool Staging Area (7200 Saint Florian Court). Parking is provided at the start/finish area.
The course is built from two loop types that runners repeat in sequence: North then South. The route uses single track and fire roads and is described as well marked. Total elevation gain and loss for the 100 miles is approximately 13,600 feet.

There are two official cut-off points expressed by elapsed race time: at mile 88.5 (33 hours) and at mile 100.0 (37 hours). Failure to meet either cut-off requires the runner to stop and will be recorded as a DNF.
Aid stations are located at specified mile points on each loop with several full stations and some water-only stations. Packet pickup is available the day before the race and on the morning of the race at the start/finish area. Pacers are permitted only after completion of the third loop (mile 38.5). Crews may assist only at the Cool Staging Area. Drop bags are allowed at Cool and Knickerbocker with collection on race morning.
Finishers receive a handcrafted Comstock Heritage buckle, a shirt, and a finisher's medal. Live runner tracking is provided via UltraLive.net using timing chips. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
