Blood, Sweat and Beers Trail Run

Blood, Sweat and Beers is a trail running event in Auburn, California, held on July 26, 2026. It is the second race in a three part trail series. Start and finish are at Railhead Park, 175 Pacific Avenue, Auburn.

The event offers two course distances:

  • 10.5 miles
  • 5.9 miles

Both courses run on a mix of single-track mountainous trails, a canal system, unimproved dirt roads and short sections of paved road. The route sits in the American River Canyon with views of the American River and includes named climbs called Cardiac and Last Gasp.

Packet pick-up is available the day before at Fleet Feet, 2311 J Street, Sacramento, and on race day at Railhead Park. Race swag includes a gender specific tech shirt and a custom finisher medal. Post-race provisions include a complimentary beer for participants age 21 or older, post-race food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Per the event policy, all entry fees are non-refundable and entries are non-transferable. If the course is changed or the race is cancelled due to an act of nature there are no refunds or rollovers.
