Blood, Sweat and Beers Trail Run

Blood, Sweat and Beers takes place in Auburn, California on July 26, 2026, with start and finish at Railhead Park, 175 Pacific Avenue. The event is the second race in a three part trail series and is presented by Altra.

Both courses use single-track mountainous trails, a canal system, unimproved dirt roads and short sections of paved road. The routes sit in the American River Canyon and offer a view of the American River. The course includes named steep sections called Cardiac and Last Gasp.

Packet pick-up is available the day before the race at Fleet Feet, 2311 J Street, Sacramento, and race day packet pick-up is available at Railhead Park. Event swag includes a gender specific tech shirt, a custom finisher medal, a complimentary post race beer for those 21 or older, post race food and non alcoholic beverages.

The event cancellation policy states that all entry fees are non refundable and entries are non transferable. If the course is changed or the race is cancelled due to an act of nature there are no refunds or rollovers. This policy applies to all entrants without exceptions. A spring trail race in Cool presented by Altra, Dirty Secret offers two single-track courses through meadows, hills and a creek crossing. The event is limited to 600 runners and includes a tech shirt and finisher medal.
