Blood, Sweat and Beers Trail Run : July 26, 2026

This event is a trail run held in Auburn, CA, organized by Fleet Feet Sacramento Trail Challenge. It is the second race in a three-part trail series and uses Railhead Park (175 Pacific Avenue) as the start and finish location. The course sits in the American River Canyon and offers views of the American River below.

Two course options are offered:

  • 10.5 Miler
  • 5.9 Miler

Both courses mix single-track mountainous trails, a canal system, unimproved dirt roads and small sections of paved road. The route includes named climbs called Cardiac and Last Gasp.

Packet pick-up is available the day before at Fleet Feet in Sacramento and on race day at Railhead Park. The event provides a gender specific tech shirt, a custom finisher medal, post-race food, non-alcoholic beverages, and a complimentary beer for finishers aged 21 or older. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable; the organizer states there are no exceptions, including cancellation for acts of nature.

A half marathon in Auburn, CA that mixes running with extreme ironing. Participants carry their own boards and irons, perform recorded ironing stops at specified local sites, and must be entirely self-supported.
