Blood, Sweat & Beers Trail Run

This event takes place on July 26, 2026 in Auburn, California with start and finish at Railhead Park, 175 Pacific Avenue. It is the second race in a three-part trail series presented by Altra. Both the long and short courses run through the American River Canyon and offer elevated views of the American River.

The courses combine single-track mountainous trails, a canal system, unimproved dirt roads and small sections of paved road. The route includes named climbs referred to as Cardiac and Last Gasp.

Packet pick-up is available the day before at Fleet Feet Sacramento and on race day at Railhead Park; friends may pick up a packet on a participant’s behalf. Race swag includes a gender-specific technical shirt and a custom finisher medal. Post-race provisions include food and non-alcoholic beverages, plus a complimentary beer for participants aged 21 or older.

Registration closes on the race date. The event follows a strict cancellation policy: all entry fees are non-refundable and entries are non-transferable; there are no refunds or rollovers for course changes or cancellations due to acts of nature.
