Conquer the Castle is a trail race held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at North Chagrin Reservation in Mayfield, Ohio (AB Williams Memorial Woods / Forest Picnic Area). The event offers multiple race distances and ruck divisions on marked trails in the Cleveland Metroparks.

Race details
The main loop is 16.7 km (10.35 mi). Event formats use repeated loops: 100K is six loops, 50K is three loops, 20 Mile is two loops, 10 Mile is one loop, and the 5K uses the first 5k of the course. Aid stations are located at the start/finish and at mile 5 and will include items such as pretzels, water, electrolyte drink, candy, PB&J, salt tabs, and energy gels. Participants are advised to carry a light if they start loops after 3:00 PM.
Special features and awards
A short hill climb behind Squire's Castle is available for certain distances; it is 0.15 miles each way and awards a token to carry to the finish for knighting swag. Registration registrants receive a custom unisex race shirt or upgrade option, a finisher medal, race bib, chip timing, stocked aid stations, post-race snacks, and age-group and overall awards. 100K finishers receive a belt buckle.
