Colorado 24 Hour Run
The Colorado 24 Hour Run is a timed endurance event held Nov 7-8, 2026 at the Colorado Youth Outdoors Swift Ponds campus in Fort Collins, Colorado. The course is a U.S.A.T.F. certified 1.0002 mile loop on 100% dirt road at about 4,826 feet elevation. The loop has effectively zero elevation change and runners reverse direction every six hours.

The event uses a fully supported start/finish pavilion with a full service aid station available every lap. Aid offerings include sports drink, gels, water, salty snacks, fruit, sweets, soda, hot broth and hot drinks, hot sandwiches, burgers and vegetarian, vegan and gluten free alternatives. Medical coverage, real time results and free race photos are provided. Richardson Hall lodge is available as a heated indoor space about 0.2 miles off the loop; modern bathrooms are available there and portos are placed on course.
Field and site limits are noted: overall registration cap is 300. Relay teams must register each member and may have up to six members; a single bib counts laps for the team. Key race rules include counting only full laps, returning to the course at the exact point after leaving it, prohibition on dogs and on purposeful littering, and a strict 15 MPH speed limit on campus.
