Collegeville Ultra - Saint John's Abbey Arboretum

The Collegeville Ultra is a trail running event held in early May at Saint John's Abbey Arboretum in Collegeville, MN. The venue address is 2355 Durenberger Fields Dr, Collegeville, MN 56321. The course uses a 10 mile loop that passes prairie, oak savanna, hardwood and conifer forest, lakes, and wetlands across the nearly 3,000 acre arboretum.

Each loop combines several trail surfaces including dirt, double track, single track, boardwalk, and paved trails. Race formats are based on repeating the 10 mile loop: the event offers 10 mile, 20 mile, and 50 kilometer distances. The 50 kilometer course is described as three loops plus an additional section.

Aid is provided with two aid stations per loop. Aid station 1 is at the start area and includes space for drop bags. Aid station 2 is located near the Stone Gate and is accessible to crews via the Old Entrance Road; runners pass this station twice during each loop. This is a cupless event, so participants must carry their own containers.

Event rules note that littering or cutting the course results in a did not finish. Participants registered before April 13 are guaranteed a race t-shirt, and finishers receive a medallion for each distance. Registration closes on April 30.
