Collegeville Ultra
The Collegeville Ultra is presented as a sustainable trail race held at Saint John’s Abbey Arboretum in Collegeville, MN. The event offers multiple distances that run on repeated loops based on a 10 mile circuit. The start area is near the St. John’s Durenberger Athletic Fields.
The 10 mile loop travels a mix of surfaces including dirt, double track, single track, boardwalk, and paved trails. The route passes through prairie, oak savanna, hardwood and conifer forest, lakes, and wetlands within the nearly 3,000 acre arboretum.
The Distances
- 10 Mile one loop
- 20 Mile two loops
- 50K three loops plus a little
Aid stations are placed twice per loop. Aid station 1 is located at the race start and includes space for drop bags. Aid station 2 is near the Stone Gate and is accessible to crews via Old Entrance Road; runners pass this station twice each loop. This is a cupless event so participants must carry their own bottles or reusable cups. Runners must check in at each aid station and record their race number.
Participants registered before April 13 are guaranteed a race t shirt. A finisher medallion is awarded for each distance. Additional on course rules include no littering and no course cutting, both of which can result in a DNF. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
