Collegeville Ultra
The Collegeville Ultra is a set of trail races held at Saint John's Abbey Arboretum in Collegeville, MN. The event uses a roughly 10 mile loop that passes prairie, oak savanna, hardwood and conifer forest, lakes, and wetlands across the nearly 3,000 acre arboretum. Course surfaces include dirt, double track, single track, boardwalk, and paved trails.
Distances offered:
- 10 Mile Race: 1 loop
- 20 Mile Race: 2 loops
- 50K Race: 3 loops plus part of a loop
Aid stations are placed twice per loop. Runners must check in and record their race number at each aid station. Aid station one is located at the start area and provides space for drop bags. Aid station two is near the Stone Gate and is accessible by crews via the Old Entrance Road; runners pass it twice each loop. To reduce environmental impact the event operates as cupless, so participants are responsible for carrying their own containers.
Awards include a finisher medallion for each distance and a race t-shirt guarantee for athletes registered before April 13. Event rules state that littering or cutting the course will result in a DNF. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
