Collegeville Ultra at Saint John's Abbey Arboretum
The Collegeville Ultra takes place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Saint John's Abbey Arboretum in Collegeville, MN. The course explores the nearly 3,000 acre Arboretum and passes through prairie, oak savanna, hardwood and conifer forest, lakes, and wetlands.
Race distances include:
- 10 Mile Race: 1 loop
- 20 Mile Race: 2 loops
- 50k Race: 3 loops plus a short section
Each loop follows a mix of dirt, double track, single track, boardwalk, and paved trails. There are two aid stations per loop; runners must check in at each aid station and record their race number. Aid station 1 is at the start and offers drop bag space. Aid station 2 is near the Stone Gate and is accessible to crews via the Old Entrance Road; runners pass that aid station twice during each loop. To reduce environmental impact this is a cupless event and participants must carry their own containers.
Awards and event items include a guaranteed race t shirt for participants registered before April 13, a finisher medallion for each distance, and an award for the fastest first lap regardless of entered distance.
