Collegeville Ultra
The Collegeville Ultra is a trail race held at Saint John’s Abbey Arboretum in Collegeville, MN. The event offers three distance options and uses a roughly 10-mile loop that passes through prairie, oak savanna, hardwood and conifer forest, lakes, and wetlands.
The loop surface is a mix of dirt, double track, single track, boardwalk, and paved trails. The route is organized so that the distances consist of repeated loops of the same course.
The distances
- 10 Mile: 1 loop
- 20 Mile: 2 loops
- 50 Kilometer: 3 loops plus a short extra section
There are two aid stations per loop. Runners must check in at each aid station and record their race number. Aid station 1 is at the start area and includes space for drop bags. Aid station 2 is near the Stone Gate and is accessible to crews via the Old Entrance Road; runners pass this station twice each loop. To reduce environmental impact this is a cupless event and participants are responsible for carrying their own containers.
Participants registered before April 13 are guaranteed a race t-shirt. A finisher medallion is provided for each distance, and there is recognition for the fastest first lap regardless of entered distance. Registration closes on Fri, Apr 30 at 11:59 PM CT.
