Coast to Crest 10K and 5K
Coast to Crest is the 11th annual trail race held on March 27, 2027, at the San Andreas Staging Lot, 15551 San Andres Dr, Del Mar, CA. The event offers two measured out-and-back distances on well groomed, hard-packed dirt trail.
The courses roll gently with almost no elevation gain except for the first quarter mile. Elevation gain is listed as roughly 50 to 100 feet depending on the race. Both routes finish downhill and are commonly described as sprint courses that favor fast times.
Runners on the course have wide open lagoon views along sections of the route. The area is a nesting place for osprey, so birds may be visible above the trail. The surface is 100% dirt trail and the course configuration is out-and-back.
This event serves as the final Championship Qualifier for both the 10K and 5K distances. Main parking is available on San Andres Dr and in adjacent parking lots next to the staging area. Packet pickup locations and additional race details are provided by the organizer before the event.
