C'mon Armageddon

C'mon Armageddon is a trail race held at Norvin Green State Park, Old Jungle Habitat, in West Milford, New Jersey. The course goes through technical mountain terrain with boulder fields, river crossings and climbs to peaks with long views, including the New York City skyline.

Distances offered:

  • 50K: over 7000 ft elevation gain
  • 10 Miler: over 2000 ft elevation gain
  • 5 Miler: about 1000 ft elevation gain

The 50K has a mandatory gear list and a gear check at bib pickup. Required items for the 50K include a GPX file on a device, a headlamp, at least 1 L of hydration, 400 calories of food and an outer layer or windbreaker. Course maps are available via GAIA GPS.

The event is cupless. Water and electrolyte mix are provided at the start and finish area and at five aid stations on the 50K; the 10 Miler has one aid station. Participants are expected to use their own hydration systems. Awards are given to top male, female and non binary finishers on the 50K. A policy for adaptive athletes is available.

The event is organized as a zero carbon event with an added one dollar registration fee to offset emissions and includes fundraising for a local nonprofit. Cutoffs are enforced. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
