C'mon Armageddon is a trail running event in Norvin Green State Park, Old Jungle Habitat, 109 Airport Rd, West Milford, NJ 07480. The event offers the following distances:
- 50K - over 7000 ft elevation gain
- 10 Miler - over 2000 ft elevation gain
- 5 Miler - about 1000 ft elevation gain
Registration closes on Sat, May 16 at 11:59 PM ET. The organizer provides GAIA GPS route maps for each distance. Awards are given to top male, female, and non-binary finishers. Brooks, through Root Runners, will provide shoes for the top male, female, and non-binary winners of the 50K.
Course and logistics
The course runs through technical terrain that includes boulder fields, river crossings, and mountain peaks with views that may include the New York City skyline. The event is cupless; water and electrolyte mix will be available at the start/finish and at five aid stations on the 50K course. The 10 Miler course has one aid station. Fuel will be available at all five 50K aid stations.
50K runners must have mandatory gear, checked at bib pickup: GPX on a device, headlamp, 1 L hydration, 400 calories, and an outer layer or windbreaker. The event includes a published adaptive athlete policy. The organizer applies a $1 registration fee to offset carbon emissions and will collect monetary donations for a local non-profit.
