XTERRA TRANSCEND Trail Fest returns for its sixth annual edition at Dickerson Mine Preserve in Randolph, NJ. The event offers trail races around wooded corridors and lakeside sections with singletrack that is described as fast and flowy. It serves as a 2027 XTERRA Trail Run World Championship qualifier for the half marathon.
Course details include a main loop of 6.8 miles with about 400 feet of elevation gain per loop and a 5K loop of 3.1 miles with about 170 feet of elevation gain. The half marathon is two laps of the main loop.

- 10K approximately one loop at 6.8 miles
- 5K approximately 3.1 miles
All registered runners receive access to RideWithGPS for on course navigation and optional audio cues. The course will also be marked with arrows and tape, but the app can help if markings are missed. Finishers may receive a limited edition XTERRA Transcend coffee mug subject to availability based on sign up date. Age group awards are specified for each distance, with five year age groups for the half marathon and ten year groups for the 10K; the 5K awards are overall top three men and women.
Required gear includes a charged cell phone, RideWithGPS or GPX preloaded, hydration, at least 200 calories of food, and a whistle. The event is held rain or shine and there are no refunds. Main parking and the start area are at Black River Barn, 1178 Route 10, with extended parking at Education Station 1176 NJ-10 for half marathon runners. Registration closes June 18 at 11:59 PM ET.
