Clachnaben Hill Race

The race takes place on Saturday, 11th April 2026. The total distance is 13.6 km with an ascent of approximately 690 meters.

The run starts from the forestry area near Strachan in Aberdeenshire. The course is located in an exposed area where visibility can be reduced due to low cloud and mist. There will be limited course markings and water available at the start.

Mandatory kit must be carried and includes: full waterproof body cover, hat and gloves, and a map, compass, and whistle. A kit check will be conducted before the start.

Registration and bib collection must be completed by 11 AM. Online entries close on Sunday, 5th April 2026. There are no entries on the day. The entry fee is £17.

Parking is located on a signed forest access road north of the track leading to the start area. Car sharing is encouraged due to limited space.
