Christmas Night Trail Run

Blanchard, United States • 2 Jan 2027

T'was a few nights after Christmas Night Trail Run

The event is set for January 2, 2027 at 1 North Trails in Blanchard, LA. It offers two route choices that use the trail system at the venue and take place after dark.

Participants choose between these distances:

  • 7 mile single track MTB trail
  • 4.5 mile Soda Lake loop, paved the whole way

The single track route is to be determined because new trails are still being built. Trails are described as typically rolling with very little roots or debris. The Soda Lake loop is about 4.5 miles and is fully paved to provide firmer footing at night.

A light source is mandatory for all participants; head lamps are recommended. Organizers plan to offer overall prizes, a few raffle items for those with a bib number, and a meal after the run. Registration opens October 1, 2026. Entry fees are listed per event on the official event information. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
