The Christmas Advent Run takes place on Sunday 29 November 2026 at Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium, Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, Surrey, KT12 2JG. Entry prices listed are £37.95 (affiliated), £39.95 (unattached) and a no-medal entry option at £20. Registered entrants are automatically entered into a prize draw held on 1 December. Places are reported as strictly limited.

Course and format

The event is a timed, lap-based race on a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) out-and-back course on the riverside towpath along the River Thames. The overall course is off road trail with no elevation gain or loss. Participants may complete as many or as few laps as they wish, with a minimum distance of 3.28 miles or as far as they can go within the 7 hour time limit. The organiser operates a flexible "rock up and run" policy with a 1 hour start window and can accommodate special start time requests depending on planned distance.

The event offers an aid station, timed results with same-day publishing, athlete profiles, digital BIBs and digital finishers' certificates. A four race summer series at Dinton Pastures Country Park offering 5 km, 10 km and a 2 km kids race on a traffic free off road course. The event includes chip timing, marshals, medals and on site first aid.

A low-key Category A fell race inside the M25 held on 19 June 2026, with multiple climbs around Yardley Valley and a finish on Pole Hill overlooking the Lea Valley. Entry is via SPOND and carries a £5 fee.

Beyond London on 20 June 2026 offers a fully signed trail event in London with a 55 km ultra and a 25 km route along the Capital Ring, GPX files, feed stations, chip timing and medical support.
