Chopwell Woods Summer Trail Runs 2026
Chopwell Woods Summer Trail Runs returns to Chopwell Woods on 27 June 2026. The series began for Wild Deer Events in 2019 and this is the organiser's annual summer trail running event.
The venue is a Forestry England site set within 360 hectares of mixed woodland next to Rowlands Gill, on the fringe of Gateshead. The location postal code is NE39 1LT.

The event is Canicross friendly - one controlled dog per runner is allowed. Live chip timing will be provided by Timing Up North.
All finishers receive an event medal, a burger or alternative, and a beer or soft drink. Free on-site parking is available but spaces are very limited.
Entry fees range from £26 to £28. The event is organised by Wild Deer Events and uses the Chopwell Woods course that hosted their first event in 2019. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
