Chopwell Woods Burger Runs 2026

This event returns to Chopwell Woods, the site of the organiser's first event in 2019. It takes place within a Forestry England woodland site of about 360 hectares next to Rowlands Gill on the fringe of Gateshead.

Distances offered include:

10 Miles
15 Miles

Routes include a mapped 5 Mile lap. The event is canicross friendly; one controlled dog per runner is allowed. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North.

All finishers receive an event medal, a burger or an alternative, and a drink. Entry fees vary by distance and are listed from £26 to £28 depending on the chosen run.
