Wheelbirks Summer 10k Trail takes place on 8 July 2026 at Wheelbirks Parlour in Stocksfield, Northumberland. The event is organised by Greener Miles Running and is the second running of the race. The distance is 10 km and the minimum age is 15 on the event date.

Entries open on 1 April 2026 and close on 6 July 2026. Entry fees are UKA member £25 and non member £27.

Course and facilities

The route runs on farm field boundaries, forest and woodland trails and dirt tracks. The course includes steep technical climbs and descents and river crossings. The route will be fully waymarked. Registration is in the farm courtyard close to the start and the ice cream parlour. Organisers recommend checking the map or adding the GPX to a watch.

Race HQ offers parking and toilets. Medical support will be available during the event. Water, flapjacks and gels will be provided and the cafe and ice cream parlour will be open. The event does not use disposable plastic cups. Entries include an ECO medal, a packet of wild flower seeds and free event photos.
