The Cheshire Cross Country Championships take place at Kelsall Equestrian Centre, Middlewich Road, CW6 0SR, United Kingdom. The event is organised by Cheshire AA and is the county cross country championship for Cheshire.

Eligibility, awards and team rules

Competitors must have been born within the 1974 Cheshire county boundaries or have been resident in Cheshire for nine months before the event, and must not have competed in another county’s championships since 1 October 2025. U20 athletes born in 2006 or later are eligible for the U20 race at the CAU inter-county event. Individual awards are given to the first three in each non-veteran age group. Veteran winners are recognised in specified male and female age bands. Team awards are given to the first three teams in each non-veteran age group and the first overall veteran teams. Senior men score six to count; veteran men four to count; all other races three to count. Veteran athletes may count for both senior and veteran teams.

Entry, kit and logistics

Entries are online only and close on Sunday 28 December 2025; no on-the-day entries. Entry fees are £9.00 for seniors/veterans and £6.00 for U11–U20 (plus booking fee). All athletes except the U11 race must have up-to-date England Athletics registration. All competitors must be club members and represent their first-claim club. Club vests are required and headphones are not permitted. Numbers are collected on the day. Clubs are asked to provide two named helpers for event duties.
