Required items include a waterproof top and bottoms with taped seams and hood, hat, gloves, map of the course area, compass, whistle and emergency food.

There are checkpoint closing times on the course and Great Gable is the last checkpoint with a 4.5 hour time limit from the race start. Entry fees vary by membership and age category and the minimum entry age is 18. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
