Cat's Tail Trail Marathon

The Cat's Tail Trail Marathon is a point-to-point trail marathon in the Slide Mountain Wilderness Area of the Catskill Mountains in New York. The route is described as rugged, with almost 7000 feet of elevation gain. The course features varied terrain, including rocky and technical climbs and descents, as well as views of rolling hills and mountains.

The event includes multiple aid stations along the course. There is food and refreshments at the finish line, described as one of the best trail running finish lines. Participants receive swag and prizes. Proceeds from the event support Run Wild, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to land conservation.
