Squatchywaska Mountainfest
Squatchywaska Mountainfest is a trail running event on April 24, 2027 in Ellenville, New York, starting and finishing at Berme Road Park. It offers two loop-style courses through the Shawangunk Ridge with rock slabs, roots, crushed-gravel carriage roads, cliffside sections, and some scrambling.

- 10 Miler
Both courses are technical and include steep climbs and descents. Elevation gain is approximately 2,500 ft for the 25K and 1,800 ft for the 10 Miler. Course marking uses neon pink ribbons and large red directional arrows. The route passes near the 187 ft Verkeerder Kill Falls and includes sweeping views of the Catskills.
Field size is capped at 150 participants; a lottery runs December 1–31 with names drawn January 1 and non-selected entrants placed on a waitlist. Both events have a six-hour cutoff; the 25K has two on-course cutoffs at about mile 11 and mile 13.75, and the 10 Miler has an on-course cutoff at about mile 6.85.
Required items for all participants include a charged cell phone, a water bottle or hydration pack, at least 200 extra calories, a whistle, and a GPX file of the course on a device. Aid stations on course provide water, Skratch, and packaged snacks; aid stations are not crew-accessible. The event benefits Run Wild, Inc.
