22nd Annual Catonsville High School XC Turkey Trot

The 22nd Annual Catonsville High School XC Turkey Trot is scheduled for Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Catonsville, Maryland. The event is based at 421 Bloomsbury Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228.

The event program includes these distances:

  • 1 Mile Family Fun Run
  • 5K

Both the 1 Mile Family Fun Run and the 5K are chip timed. Because of the course layout, strollers and pets are not allowed in either race.

All net proceeds from the event are directed to the CHS Cross Country program. Funds are used for uniforms, training tools, travel expenses, and the philanthropy causes supported by the program.

Awards and prizes are part of the event. Cash prizes are awarded to the first, second, and third overall male and female finishers. Age group and gift card prizes are supported by event sponsors. The 5K presents overall prizes plus first place for each gender in these age groups: 10 and under, 11-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over. The kids 1 Mile awards first, second, and third overall male and female for participants aged 13 or under; there are no age group awards for the kids race. Random prize drawings and sponsor-supported giveaways are also part of the event.
