The 22nd Annual Catonsville High School XC Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Catonsville, Maryland at 421 Bloomsbury Ave. The event follows a cross country style course and includes the following distances:

  • 1 Mile Family Fun Run
  • 5K

Both races are chip timed. Due to the nature of the course, strollers and pets are not allowed.

Purpose and awards

One hundred percent of race proceeds go to the CHS Cross Country program to support uniforms, training tools, travel expenses, and supported philanthropy causes. Cash prizes are awarded to the first, second, and third place male and female finishers in the 5K. The 5K also recognizes the first place finisher for each gender in these age groups: 10 and under; 11-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+. The Kids' 1 Mile Fun Run awards first, second, and third place overall male and female for ages 13 and under.
