The event takes place on 6 May 2026 at The Sands Centre in Carlisle, England. The race distance is 10 km. Entry is limited to 300 participants and entrants must be at least 15 years old. Registration for the event closes on 4 May 2026. The published entry price is £21.00 plus a fee of £0.50 and 5% per participant.

Course, services and rules

The course uses a mixture of on-road and off-road established tracks. A full course risk assessment, route maps, the race permit and the measurement certificate will be on display at event headquarters on race day. Race numbers and timing chips will be issued at race registration and a race briefing will be held before the event.

Prizes are awarded to the overall male and female 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Age-group prizes follow a scale: where there are 1 to 17 competitors in a category only 1st place is awarded; 18 to 27 competitors receive 1st and 2nd; 28 or more competitors receive 1st, 2nd and 3rd. If an age-group competitor places in the overall top three they receive the overall prize and the age-group prize is rolled down. The overall 3rd place prize will not be less than the age-group winner.
