Carlisle City Urban Trail Race

The Carlisle City Urban Trail Race is a 10 km running event scheduled for Wednesday, 6 May 2026. The event will be based at The Sands Centre in Carlisle, England.

Registration and Schedule

Race registration will be held at The Sands Centre between 17:30 and 18:45 on the race day. Race numbers and timing chips will be issued during this time. A race briefing will take place at 18:45, followed by the start of the race at 19:15.

The Course

The 10 km course uses a mixture of on-road and off-road sections on established tracks. Event information will include a course map, a risk assessment, the race permit, and a measurement certificate displayed at the event headquarters.

Event Details

The event has a participant limit of 300. Entrants must be 15 years of age or older. Registration closes on 4 May 2026 at 20:00.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded for the first, second, and third overall male and female finishers. Age group prizes will also be awarded based on the number of competitors in each category. Age group winners who also finish in an overall prize position will receive the overall award, and their age group prize will be awarded to the next eligible finisher.
