The 10K course starts at Barnstaple Rugby Club. It includes a loop around Bridge Field before heading onto the Tarka Trail towards Pottington. Runners cross the river via Taw Bridge, complete a short loop on the Tarka Trail, cross Long Bridge, and go to Rock Park. After a loop around Rock Park, the route returns to the Rugby Club along Taw Vale and the Strand.

The course is mostly off-road, using the Tarka Trail and public pavements. It is flat and fast, suitable for a first race or achieving a personal best. The distance is approximately 10 kilometers.

Entry prices vary. Early bird rates are available until 14 February 2026. A Valentine's month promotion runs from 15 February to 14 March 2026. Standard pricing applies from 15 March 2026 onwards. There are separate rates for affiliated and unaffiliated runners.

For entries before 15 May, participants receive a running shirt. All finishers get a medal. The race is chip-timed, and there are prizes in all categories, including a prize for the best fundraiser.

On the day, number and chip collection is from 8:30 AM, with registration closing at 9:30 AM. The race starts at 10:00 AM. There will be a post-race prize presentation. Tea, coffee, and cakes will be available for purchase.
