Canterbury City Race European Tour 2026

Canterbury City Race European Tour runs over a three day weekend in Canterbury from 22 to 24 May 2026, with events in the city centre, near Christchurch University, and on the University of Kent campus. The programme comprises a Friday evening prologue, a Saturday City Race through medieval streets and around the cathedral and city walls, and Sunday sprint races on the university campus.

Entries are organised by urban age classes. Seniors may choose to run up into a higher category. Juniors must enter their appropriate age class until their 16th birthday, after which they may choose to run up into senior classes. Juniors are defined as those under 21 on 31 December; full time students aged 21 and over are charged the junior rate.

Entry fees vary by entry period (Early Bird, Standard from 2 Feb 2026, and Late from 11 May 2026) and by event type. A joint Saturday and Sunday entry discount applies automatically. Basic electronic timing dibbers are available to hire for £1 and SIAC dibbers for £2.50.

The City Race forms part of the City Race European Tour and the UK Urban League. The Sunday sprints will also serve as the SE Sprints for 2026. Live results will be available online and final results will be posted on the event website. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
