Canterbury Riverside 10k

The Canterbury Riverside 10 km takes place on Sunday 22 March 2026. The event starts and finishes at Chartham Village Hall, Station Road, Chartham, Kent CT4 7HZ. Entry fees are listed as £20 / £22, with on-the-day entries at £25 (cash only). Numbers and timing chips are not posted out and must be collected at registration. Online entries close at 8 pm on the preceding Thursday and pre-race emails are sent within 48 hours. The event record times are Male 00:33:39 and Female 00:40:18.

Course and facilities

The course is traffic-free and runs along the River Stour, linking Chartham with the centre of Canterbury. The route begins with one lap of the playing field before following the River Stour pathway to "Toddlers Cove" and then retracing the same path back to the finish at the event HQ. The layout is an out-and-back route and is described as very flat. The event accommodates 400 runners on the field. Marshals, signage, medals, trophies for Male and Female 1st to 3rd, age-group awards and a top team award are provided. Toilets are available at the event HQ. In-ear and over-ear headphones are not permitted; bone-conduction headphones are allowed.
