The 50th Saltwood Boxing Day Run
The Saltwood Boxing Day Run is a charity off-road event held in Saltwood on Saturday, 26 December 2026. The event traditionally attracts more than 1,000 entries and is described as a community fun run.
The course is a challenging three mile route of mud and hills using footpaths, fields and trails in and around Saltwood. Medals are awarded to all finishers. The event is open to all ages and is described as suitable for both experienced runners and beginners alike.
Multiple entry options are offered with different fees and conditions. Adult affiliated entry is priced at £12.00 plus a £2.04 service fee; adult unaffiliated entry is £14.00 plus a £2.04 service fee. A junior entry option is priced at £5.00 plus a £2.04 service fee. A family entry option covers two adults and two under 18 and is priced at £32.50 plus a £2.75 service fee. Registration rules note that at least one ticket must be selected and that at least one adult ticket must be selected if a child ticket is chosen.
