Burbage Skyline is a fell race in the Dark Peak held on 2 June 2026. The course is 9.9 km long with approximately 290 metres of climb. The route includes rocky and boggy sections and three small river crossings; runners must be confident navigating and completing this terrain.

The event is held under Fell Runners Association (FRA) licence and runners must follow FRA rules. Use of GPS or equivalent for navigation is prohibited. If a runner retires they must report to the Race Organiser.

Entry is by pre-entry only, with an entry fee of £9.00 and a field limited to 400 runners. Entrants must be aged over 17 at the year end (born no later than 2009). Entry opens on 20 April and closes on 31 May or earlier if the entry limit is reached. There are no refunds and no substitutions after the entry system closes.

Race registration takes place at the Fox House Inn (grid ref SK267803); allow about a 10 minute walk to the start. Registration will close at 7.15 pm.

Fell or trail shoes are mandatory; road running shoes are not allowed. The Race Organiser may require FRA Best Practice kit depending on weather. FRA Best Practice kit includes waterproof whole body cover with taped seams and attached hood, hat, gloves, map, compass, whistle and emergency food. A new fell race from Sinfin Running Club around the Chevin covering 8.9 km with 315 m of climb. The marked course uses two short loops and a figure of eight and includes some short road sections.

Three trail routes start at Bakewell Showground and explore varied Peak District terrain including moors, valleys and parts of the Pennine Way. The Half Marathon route includes outposts and does not allow dogs.

A timed track ultra at Woodbank Park where runners complete as many 400 m laps as possible within 6, 12 or 24 hour limits, with chip timing, an aid station and indoor facilities on site.

A memorial trail run of about 5.5 miles from Worksop College into Clumber Park on 31 May 2026, with marshalling, first aid support and a finisher medal. All profits are donated to Cancer Research.
