Bluebell's Revenge

Bluebell's Revenge is a fell race organised by Sinfin Running Club. It is the first running of this event and is based on a longstanding Bluebell race with an altered route that increases distance and climb. The marked course comprises two short loops followed by a longer figure of eight around the Chevin and includes some short sections on open roads; runners are responsible for their own safety on those road sections.

The course distance is 8.9 km / 5.5 miles with 315 m / 1033 ft of climb. The venue is the Bluebell Inn, Farnah Green, Belper, DE56 2UP. The event holds a race licence with the Fell Runners Association and sets minimum age at 18.

Entry is limited to 125 runners. There are 100 pre-entry places available online and the remaining places can be taken on the night for cash only. Pre-entry and on-the-day fees differ for FRA members and non members. Transfers are permitted via Entry Central before the closing date; on-the-day transfers and refunds are not available.

There is no mandatory kit list but runners must carry appropriate clothing and footwear with adequate grip. Prohibited items include headphones, electronic navigation aids and poles. Numbers must be worn on the front and be clearly visible and pins should be provided by the runner. Water is available at the finish and attendees should bring their own bottle or cup. Dogs are not permitted. If a competitor withdraws they must report to race headquarters to confirm retirement. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
