About the Event

The Bunny Run 5K is a local running and walking event. It aims to raise funds and collect items for the Friends of North Augusta Animals (FONAA) charity. Specifically, the event collects puppy food and kitten food for donation.

Course Details

The 5K course starts and finishes at the Sharon Jones Amphitheater (1001 Center St., North Augusta, SC 29841). The route continues onto the paved North Augusta Greenway.

Registration & Logistics

Online registration remains open until five minutes before the event start. Participants can choose to register for the 5K with or without a race shirt. A shirt is guaranteed for all who register by 11:59 p.m. on February 27, 2026. Any extra shirts are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Augusta (229 Furys Ferry Road, Augusta) on the Friday before the event from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on race morning starting at 7 a.m.

Awards & Charity

Awards are given for age groups from 14 and Under up to 80 and over, for both male and female participants, plus the top three overall finishers. The charity partner, Friends of North Augusta Animals, collaborates with local governments and rescue organizations to advocate for animals and facilitate adoptions. Explore the scenic trails of a thousand acre equestrian facility in South Carolina. This event features races from a 5K to a half marathon through forests and rolling hills with on site lodging and hot showers available.

A three day running and wellness camp at Stable View in Aiken, South Carolina, mixing trail runs, coaching, nutrition seminars, yoga, and a personal safety session with chef prepared meals and single or shared lodging options.
