The Dark Horse 24 & 48 Hour Ultra Run takes place February 27 - March 1, 2026 at Stable View Equestrian Facility in Aiken, South Carolina. Registration closes Sun, Feb 1, 2026. The event uses a looped course and offers on-site and nearby lodging options.

Race options and logistics

• 48-hour team relay (2–4 runners)
• 24-hour solo

Entry fees listed in the event information are: 24-hour solo $200, 48-hour solo $350, and 48-hour team relay $150 per runner. Team relays allow 2 to 4 runners per team and only one team member may be on the course at a time.

The course is a maintained 4-mile loop. Support and crew access are facilitated by the loop format. Personal 10x10 canopies are allowed and vehicle access to team areas is available. Covered sites on-site are offered for $50 for the weekend and RV sites are available; these require reservation with the venue.

Zen Arcade Timing provides professional chip timing, including real-time tracking, live lap counting and splits, and advanced display features.
