Aiken Trailblazer at Stable View
The event takes place on October 24, 2026 at Stable View, 117 Stable Drive, Aiken, SC 29801. Races are held on trails across the Stable View equestrian grounds, described as rolling hills with forested canopies.
Distances offered:
- 26.2 Miles Mummifying Marathon
- 13.1 Miles Headless Horseman Half Marathon
- 10K Thriller 10K
- 5K Frightening 5K
- 1K Kooky Kids Fun Run
Participants receive a finisher medal and a t-shirt. Long sleeve shirts are guaranteed through October 15; short sleeve shirts are available while supplies last. Post-race food and access to hot showers are provided. There are four rest stops stocked with water and Nuun.
Awards include overall top three male and female finishers for the half marathon, 10K, and 5K, plus first place age group medals. Age groups range from 14 and under up to 75-79. Costume awards are given in several categories including Most Unique, The Scariest, Best Superhero, and Best Family & Friends Group.
Stable View offers on-site lodging options and RV hook ups for participants. Packet pick up is scheduled the day before and the morning of the event. The event is held rain or shine with no refunds.
