Brutal @ Bagshot takes place on Saturday 24th January 2026 at Bagshot on the Army Alpine Driving Training circuit. The event uses the circuit arena accessed from The Maultway (B3015). The organiser notes hilly terrain with multiple water features, including a bog before 3 km, twisting hills, zigzag sections, knee-to-waist deep water holes and a large puddle on the course. Car sharing is available. Current entries show 25 of 300 places taken.

Course and entries

Distances:

  • 5 km - single lap (entry limit: 100; entered: 5)
  • 10 km - two laps (entry limit: 200; entered: 20)

There is a 75 minute cut-off to complete the first lap for those attempting the two-lap 10 km option. Minimum ages are 10 for the 5 km and 13 for the 10 km. Juniors are defined as under 16 on race day. Entries close 23:59 on 22nd January.

Fees and withdrawal

Entry fees vary by date and category. Early bird and standard senior and junior prices are listed by the organiser, with higher standard fees at MOD locations. The organiser states MOD venue costs increased by 33%, and the early bird discount at these sites was reduced to 20%. Entries can be withdrawn via the online entry page up until 14:00 on the Thursday prior to the event; withdrawn entries are credited as event credit valid for two years rather than refunded.
