This is a guided trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl, a natural amphitheatre and beauty spot in Hindhead, Surrey. The route distance is 10km. The run meets at the Devil's Punchbowl car park. Scheduled dates include 19 November 2025, 3 February 2026, 1 July 2026, and 24 November 2026. The entry cost is £16 per person. Parking is available at the meeting location.

The route follows local trails and includes several hills with a planned pause at the top for views. The event is run as a group rather than a race. Participants should be able to sustain an average pace of about 10 min/mile | 6 min/km on trails for prolonged periods and have a suitable level of fitness. Sessions are offered as sunset runs during lighter months, and as night runs in darker months when participants use headtorches in a group setting.

Logistics and equipment

The run is led by an experienced trail runner who is a qualified guide and coach. A full kit list is provided to participants before the event. Silva head torches and Salomon trail shoes are available to trial on the run, and Silva torches are used by the organisers.
