Devil's Punchbowl 10km - Guided trail run

A guided trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl in Hindhead, Surrey. The route covers approximately 10 km on natural trails within a large natural amphitheatre and includes several climbs and viewpoints. The meeting place is the Devil's Punchbowl car park and parking is available. The entry fee is £16 per person.

The run is led by an experienced, qualified guide and is organised as a group run rather than a race. Participants should be able to sustain an average pace of around 10 minutes per mile or around 6 minutes per kilometre for prolonged periods on trail and should have a suitable level of fitness. Runners are encouraged to take hills at their own pace and the group pauses at higher viewpoints.

Sessions are offered as sunset runs in lighter months and night runs in darker months. Night runs use headtorch navigation in a group environment; headtorches from Silva and Salomon trail shoes are available to trial on the run. A full kit list and further practical information are provided to participants ahead of each event.

An alcohol free beer may be provided at the end of the run subject to availability through a partnership with Athletic Brewing Company. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
