The Serpent Trail is scheduled for Saturday 4 July 2026 at Petersfield Rugby Club (PRFC), Hampshire, GU31 4EP. Entries open on 10 October 2025 and close on 27 June 2026, with earlier closing dates for some distances. Minimum entry age is 16. Coach transport to the race start is included with entries. Camping is available on Friday and Saturday nights and a kids race takes place on Friday evening. The venue will offer food and a licensed bar. The route uses permanent Serpent Trail markings plus additional race signage. Walkers are welcome.

Distances and course information

The route lies within the South Downs National Park and passes through lowland heath, ancient woodland and heathland described as habitats rarer than rainforest. Surfaces include sandy trails that drain well, some short road sections, and generally flat or relatively small hills depending on the distance.   • 100km - 1785m ascent, 9 checkpoints, 18 hr time limit. Entry fee £150. Closes 6 June.
  • 75km - 1200m total ascent, 7 checkpoints. Entry fee £120.

  • 20km - 2 checkpoints. Entry fee £46. Closes 6 June.
