Bruce's Crown Race
Glentrool, United Kingdom • 4-5 Apr 2026
Bruce's Crown Race is a challenging 46-mile team event held in Caldons, near Glentrool in Galloway, Scotland. Teams of 2 to 4 runners traverse three hill ranges—the Minnigaff Hills, Rhinns of Kells, and the Awful Hand—climbing over 4000 meters. The classic route offers stunning 360-degree views, including sights of the Southern Highlands, Lake District, Snowdonia, and more.
The course demands strong navigation skills due to limited paths and tough terrain. Participants benefit from three manned checkpoints providing hot food and drinks, with mountain rescue support throughout. Camping is included, and proceeds support the Galloway Mountain Rescue Team.
