Bradshaw Brute 100

The Bradshaw Brute 100 is a point-to-point footrace covering the first segment of the Cocodona 250 route. The event takes runners from Deep Canyon Ranch in Black Canyon City to Watson Lake Park in Prescott, Arizona. The distance is approximately 100 miles. The route is noted for being remote and technical, traversing the Bradshaw Mountain range.

The course links several trail systems and geographic zones. It begins on the Black Canyon National Recreation Trail in the Sonoran desert, climbs through the foothills and into the Bradshaw Mountains, passes through the historic mining town of Crown King, and finishes near downtown Prescott.

There is a qualification requirement for registration. Runners must have completed a qualifying 50-mile, 100k, or 100-mile race. The event organizer will review UltraSignup results to confirm eligibility. Pacers and crew support are not permitted on this course. The event is described as a "doctoral level" 100-mile race, suitable for runners confident in remote, mountainous terrain.

Aid is provided at stations along the route. The race uses a cupless policy, so runners must carry their own containers for fluids. A GPS-enabled device with the course file is mandatory for all participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
