Heatwave Half Marathon - Toledo

The Heatwave Half Marathon takes place at Glass City Metropark in Toledo, Ohio. This summer event offers a variety of distances to accommodate different preferences and ages. Participants can choose from several individual races or join a team for a relay format.

Registered participants receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. To guarantee a shirt, registration must be completed by midnight on the Thursday two weeks prior to the event date. Attendees have access to free event photos and ice cream at the finish line. For those unable to attend at Glass City Metropark, a virtual race option is available, allowing participants to run at a location of their choice and receive their materials via mail. A 5k mud run in Oak Harbor, Ohio on June 20, 2026 with 20+ obstacles and alternate challenge and Xtreme routes. Every participant receives a medal and the event will donate 10% of proceeds to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Run a flat 10K on gravel dike trails through the scenic 1000 acre Howard Marsh Metropark followed by optional kayaking and birdwatching in a unique wetland habitat.

Run or walk through the scenic Wildwood Metropark in Toledo. The event features a mixed-surface 5K and a paved 1-mile walk, with all proceeds supporting local parks. It's a family-friendly outing for a good cause.

A 100-minute looped running event at Williams Park in Gibsonburg where laps are recorded on a 0.9 mile loop. Entry is $25 and proceeds support a local foundation; all finishers receive awards and post-run food is provided.
