Bobcat Trail Races : Palmer Park, Colorado Springs
Bobcat Trail Races take place at Palmer Park in Colorado Springs on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The event features multiple trail distances that use the park’s single-track, rolling hills and rocky bluffs, with views of the city and Pikes Peak. The event management transferred to Aravaipa Running beginning in 2024.

- 50K
- 25K
- 10K
- 5K
Longer courses include multiple staffed aid stations and finish-line services; the 5K has no aid stations. Course markings use orange ribbon with black polka dots and laminated signs at junctions that correspond to each race distance. Blue and white checkerboard ribbon marks non-race or wrong-way trails. Runners are responsible for following their designated course and are encouraged to download offline course GPX files.
Event logistics note that crews and spectators are allowed at the start/finish area but parking may be limited. Pacers are not permitted for any distance. All runners may store a finish-line drop bag at the finish area. The event asks participants to carry a reusable cup for aid stations to reduce single-use waste. Live split tracking is available during race weekend and bib pickup is organized at local packet pickup locations and at the trailhead.
