Bobcat Trail Races

Bobcat Trail Races take place in Palmer Park, Colorado Springs, on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The courses use Palmer Park’s trail network and offer views of the city and Pikes Peak from rocky bluffs and ridge lines.

Course terrain includes technical single-track, rolling hills, rocky outcrops, and forested sections. The 50K, 25K, and 10K courses include staffed aid stations on course; the 5K has no aid stations. Runners are responsible for navigation; the event recommends downloading an offline GPX of the course before race day and notes that courses may be marked with ribbons and laminated signs. A reusable cup is mandatory at aid stations.

Logistics note that finish-line drop bags are accepted and that crews and spectators are allowed at the start and finish area, though parking may be limited. Pacers are not permitted for any distance. Bib pickup is available at local packet locations in Colorado Springs in the days before the event.
