BMF UTA Training is a guided long training run in the Blue Mountains, Katoomba NSW, on 26 April 2026. It is presented by Blue Mountains Fitness in partnership with The Body Mechanic and aligns with STREEK.RUNUTA base and event-specific UTA training plans. The session is described as the final long run before Ultra Trail Australia and corresponds to the end of Week 13 of a 16-week Locker Room race plan. Blue Mountains Fitness holds an NPWS ECO PASS licence and insurance to conduct training within the national park.

The base 34 km route departs from Queen Victoria Hospital and follows Kedumba to Leura Creek, Jamison Creek, the Helipad, the Sewer Plant, Federal Pass, Leura Forest, Fern Bower, Leura Cascades, The Fairmont, Wentworth Falls, Hordern Road and back to Kings Tableland Road. A 20 km bailout option finishes at Gordon Falls Park; transport back to Queen Victoria Hospital is included for bailout participants. Organisers note routes may change due to course updates, park closures or weather events.
Three pace groups will be used: MIGHTY TURTLES, a mid paced group, and SPEEDY HARES. Participants are required to carry UTA50/100/Miler mandatory gear and sufficient food and hydration for about 7 hours on foot. Minimum age is 16. Fees are listed as $90 for the full course and $85 for the 20 km option. An information sheet with maps and meeting points will be issued before the run.
