BMF UTA Training is a guided trail training run on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Kings Tableland / Wentworth Falls, New South Wales. The session is organised by Blue Mountains Fitness in partnership with The Body Mechanic and aligns with Streek.run and The Locker Room UTA race training plans. The minimum age for participants is 16. The organisers hold a National Parks and Wildlife Service ECO PASS licence and insurance to run training within the National Park.
Course, distances and logistics
The route uses the QV Loop of the UTA50/UTA100 course with added sections from other UTA courses. The described route goes down Kedumba to Leura Creek and Jamison Creek, then past the Helipad, the sewer plant, Federal Pass, Leura Forest, up Leura Stairs and along the top past Leura Cascades, Wentworth Falls, Hordern Road and Kings Tableland Road. The course may change due to UTA course updates, park closures, landslides, floods or other unforeseen circumstances.

There is an option to bail out at about 20 km at Gordon Falls and options for extra kilometres from the basic 34 km loop. Participants are asked to carry UTA50/100 mandatory gear, a minimum of 2 litres of water and enough food for about 6-7 hours on foot. An information sheet and route map will be provided to registered participants prior to the training day.
Fees and pace groups
Entry fees are listed as $90 for the full course and $85 for the 20 km option. The run is organised into three pace groups: Mighty Turtles, a mid paced group and Speedy Hares. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
