Bluemont Station Brewery & Winery 5k

Race Information

The event is a single-distance 5k race. Participation counts towards the organizer's "Year-Long 5k & Back of the Pack Series" and "Sippin Series". A virtual race option is available for those who cannot attend on race day.

Course & Location

The race takes place on the property of the Bluemont Station Brewery & Winery in Bluemont, Virginia. The course is described as a "cross country route around the property" that includes some hills. The 5k distance consists of three laps of the route.

Participant Perks & Details

Registered runners receive a finisher medal, a technical (Dri-FIT) event shirt, and a glass of beer or wine from the venue. The race is chip-timed. Walkers are welcome. Two water stations are present on the course, positioned approximately at mile markers 1 and 2. Restrooms are located in the brewery/winery building.

Registration & Logistics

Registration fees are $35 until March 31st, increasing to $40 afterwards. Prices increase by $5 on race morning. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations before April 15; later registrants receive shirts on a first-come, first-served basis. Race day registration is available. Packet pickup occurs at the event on race day. The event supports the charity I AM ALS.

Awards & Results

Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Additional awards are given to the first and second place male and female finishers in age categories from 19 & Under to 70+. Live results are posted on Athlinks.com, with final results and series points posted on the organizer's website the Monday after the race.
