The 2026 Barrel Oak 3k & 6k takes place on April 19, 2026 at Barrel Oak Winery in Delaplane, VA (3623 Grove Ln). Distances offered:

Points from this event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series, and toward the Sippin’ Series. A virtual race option is available. The event benefits the Semper Fi and America’s Fund. Runners receive a glass of wine from the winery, a finisher’s medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and chip timing.
Course, logistics and results
The course is a cross country route around the vineyards with some gravel dirt road sections and hills. The 6k is two laps of the 3k route. Walkers and leashed pets are welcome. Water stations are located at approximately mile markers 0.7 and 1.7 on the 3k, and at 0.7, 1.7, 2.5, and 3.5 on the 6k; Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are available in the winery and packet pickup is available at the event. Race day registration is offered; t-shirt sizes are not guaranteed for race-day registrants. Live race results are posted online and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race.
