Blencathra Fell Race is a counter in the 2026 English Fell Running Championships held on 28 June 2026 in Mungrisdale, CA11 0XR. The event is a category 'AM' fell race covering 13K with approximately 825 m of ascent.

Entry conditions and limits are specified in advance. Entries open on Monday 13 April 2026. Guaranteed-entry entrants must enter by 09:00 on Monday 20 April. FRA member entries are scheduled to open on 20 April and close on 27 April or when 70% of places are filled. Remaining places open on 27 April, with a waiting list used if the event becomes full; the overall limit is 400 places. Minimum age is 18 on the event date. Entry fees listed are £16 for FRA members and £16 for non-members.

The organisers will enforce the classic route; the first ascent to CP1 will be partially marked. Navigation skills and competent mountain-craft are required; the event is not intended for beginners or those unfamiliar with the potential dangers of high fells.

All parking is at Low Beckside Farm on the left when approaching the village from the A66. Registration and event administration are at the farm; the registration area includes number collection, kit check and toilets and is about a 10-minute walk from the start.
