Blencathra Fell Race
The Blencathra Fell Race is a category AM fell running event held in Mungrisdale. Organised by Eden Runners, the race serves as a counter in the 2026 English Fell Running Championships. The event follows a classic route covering a distance of 13 km with a total of 825 m of ascent.
The course uses a traditional route where the first ascent to the first checkpoint is partially marked. Because the race takes place on the high fells, participants are required to possess navigation skills and competent mountain-craft.
