The "classic" route will be enforced and the first ascent to CP1 will be partially marked. The event counts as an English champs counter. All parking is at Low Beckside Farm (on the left when approaching the village from the A66) and registration is at the farm. A 23 mile winter walk and run around the Lyth Valley from Abbot Hall Social Centre in Kendal, passing Cunswick Fell, Whitbarrow Scar and Scout Scar. The event has mandatory winter kit rules and currently operates a waiting list.
