Blazing Trails for Brain Injury

Blazing Trails for Brain Injury is a fundraising event organized by the Brain Injury Association of Nebraska. The event combines an in-person gathering at Chalco Hills Recreation Area in Omaha, NE with a virtual participation option and is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026.

The program features both running and accessible walking or rolling options and is presented as an opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to raise awareness and funds for brain injury. Typical participation ranges from about 120 to 150 people, and the event provides a setting for individuals and organizations to interact with the local community while supporting the association’s work.

Distances included in the event:

  • 5K run

The Brain Injury Association of Nebraska notes collaborations with other likeminded associations to support community education about brain injury.
