Format and rules

Runners choose a timed option and try to cover as much distance as they can in the time selected. Options are:

  • 12 hours
  • 6 hours
  • 3 hours

Medal standards are: 3 hours or 9 miles (3 loops), 6 hours or 21 miles (7 loops), and 12 hours or 39 miles (13 loops). The participant limit is 250 across all race options. Runners must remain at the park during their race unless they decide to stop; leaving the park ends that runner's race.
