Lucky Bucket 5K at Eugene Mahoney State Park
The Lucky Bucket 5K is scheduled for August 15, 2026 at Eugene Mahoney State Park in Ashland, NE. The event uses multiple park surfaces, including dirt trails, grassy areas, and paved paths, and is presented as a run/walk distance of 5K.
Entry fees vary by registration date: $40 through May 31, 2026; $45 from June 1 through August 13, 2026; and $50 for August 14 and August 15, 2026. Paid entry includes park admission, food, two drink tickets, and access to an after party.
A short sleeve technical T-shirt is offered as an add-on option. To guarantee a shirt, registrants must be entered by midnight August 1, 2026. A limited number of extra shirts will be ordered after that date but availability is not guaranteed.
Race awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in the following categories: Overall, Master’s, 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
