The Greater Omaha Area Trail Runnerz (GOATz) present Crown of the Crest at Calvin Crest in Fremont, Nebraska. The event spans two days in late May 2026 and offers multiple distance options on a looped trail course.

• Double Crown (full marathon plus half marathon across two days)
• 26.2 Mile (marathon)
• Crown Half Marathon
• Lucky 13 (13-hour loop challenge)

The course is a single-track loop on the bluffs of the Platte River, with each loop about 12.5 to 13.1 miles and an estimated 1500 feet of elevation gain per loop. Trails start near the top of the bluff and descend and climb into a central spine of cedar trees. The route includes switchbacks, roots, and technical sections and passes through scenic bluff terrain along the river.

Race logistics include a mandatory prerace briefing shortly before each start and packet pickup up to 90 minutes before race start. Drop bags are permitted. Aid stations are fully stocked and manned at the start/finish and at on-course locations that runners pass twice per loop. Pacers are allowed under specified conditions for longer distances. Calvin Crest is an alcohol-free and no-smoking facility; violation of those rules will result in removal or disqualification. Swag and awards are provided for participants.
