Crown Of The Crest

The Crown of the Crest is a challenging trail running event held at Calvin Crest near Fremont, Nebraska. The course features a scenic, technical 10-mile single-track loop with approximately 900 feet of elevation gain, rolling through bluffs and cedar spines along the Platte River. Distances include a 100-mile ultra, a full marathon, a half marathon, the unique Lucky 13-hour run, and the Double Crown Challenge, which combines a marathon and half marathon over two days. The event offers fully stocked aid stations, allows pacers after certain distances, and emphasizes a supportive atmosphere without alcohol or smoking on site.
